VIMOV Internship

The first time I heard about VIMOV was through this video here .I liked this company a lot and wished that I graduate and work in such a company.

Two weeks ago, My TA sent me an email asking for my CV , to see if he can manage to get me in VIMOV, I have send my CV and the next day, I get a call for an interview.

Entering the company, I have seen third year students, So I said in myself, I have no chance :(.I entered the interview, It was really a nice interview with eng. Amr Ramdan. The next day he called me and I was accepted for internship at VIMOV. The other good news that I found my friend melody accepted too :). I am so excited for the training. So as usual wish me luck ^_^.

Graduation projects

The last days was the graduation projects discussions for fourth year students, I have attended three graduation projects:

• WNMI Web Network and Mail Integrator.
• A Location Based Routing Protocol for Cognitive Radio Networks.
• "IBN-SINA" Biological Relation Extraction Tools Using Biomedical Ontologies and Text Mining, which talked about employ the structure representations of ontologies to markup biomedical text documents. Based on established semantic links between documents and ontology concepts.

I still can't imagine what my graduation project will be, but luckily, I still have time :).

ITW

IEEE Alexandria Student Branch has organized the "Interact with Today's World" or simply Interact'10, formerly known as ITW. The event is three days,The last day is tomorrow isA. I have attended the past two days, the event was so great.,I have liked many sessions like : The 7 pillars of the knowledge revolution keynote speech by Dr Ismail Serageldin, Embedded Systems industry growth in the world and in Egypt by Eng.Hossam Yahia and Introduction to mobile development in Android Platform by Eng, Ahmed Elsayed, I really enjoyed the event . Hope to see all of you there next year :).
